Full Time EM Physician / Associate Site Medical Director

Mercy Medical Center has just completed a $10 million expansion of the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department is now home to 24 private beds/rooms + a 4-bed Fast Track facility. New features of the ED include ultrasound, electronic documentation, PACS & a new hospitalist program. Just last year, the new Cardiac Catheterization Lab opened, which includes 2 designated in-house intervential cardiologists. The current annual patient volume is 37,000. There are 8, 9 and 10 Hour Shifts with 38 hours physician coverage (and 12 hour PA coverage in Fast Track).

Nampa , Idaho is located only 9 miles from Boise with a population of over 50,000. Boise was named Forbes Magazine Number One Metropolitan Area for Business and Careers in 2005. There are numerous recreation areas within easy driving distance of the city including ski resorts, lakes, rivers, mountains, caves & reservoirs.

 

Qualifications are BC/ BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM only). Offering: "A" rated malpractice insurance program with no tail obligation upon departure. This is an Independent Contractor facility with an excellent compensation plan plus monthly stipend and full benefits for an associate medical director.
