Fannin Regional Hospital, a 50-bed general acute-care facility, is Medicare and Medicaid certified, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the American College of Radiology (ACR).

• The hospital has served the Tri-State area of North Georgia, Southeast Tennessee, and Southwest North Carolina with quality care since 1977 and offers comfortably appointed private rooms, a five-bed Intensive Care Unit, a Birthing Center, and an Outpatient Specialty Clinic.
• The 24-hour Emergency Department is staffed by physicians and nurses trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Fannin County has three elementary schools and an advanced middle school that features state-of-the-art computer labs, industrial arts labs, an amphitheater, contemporary classrooms and recreational facilities.

• Fannin County Comprehensive High School provides a traditional curriculum as well as vocational training.
• The high school is at the core of the community's education culture, standing out as one of the best of its size in the state.
• The area's growth and commitment to education has been further enhanced by Truett-McConnell College's location of a branch campus in nearby Epworth. This two-year institution offers a full curriculum and is located in a historic facility.
