Carilion Health System is searching for an ABMS-BC General Adult Psychiatrist to join Carilion St. Albans Center, an interdisciplinary clinic located on the campus of Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Virginia's New River Valley. Qualifications: ABMS-BC ideal, or board eligibility acceptable with plan in place to receive certification in tow years; high clinical standards; able to handle a variety of patient types; preference for working collaboratively with therapists; experience in acute hospital setting; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The practice opportunity includes inpatient (including ECT), outpatient, and medication management. Growing hospital consultation services are provided to patients at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center,a 100-bed acute-care medical center with excellent support staff and a medical staff of over 300 physicians representing a broad range of specialists.
