Position immediately available for a BC/BE Pediatric Urologist to join a rapidly growing Pediatric Urology practice in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. Offices include beautiful Scottsdale, Mesa, the center of the fast growing East Valley and the site of the brand new Banner Children’s Hospital and Glendale, home of Banner Thunderbird Children’s Center. Phoenix is the fifth largest metropolitan area in the U.S. with the second fastest population growth, and has a continuous need for more urologists and other pediatric providers.
Banner Health is the fastest growing health care system in Maricopa/Pinal County. In 2005, the system experienced over 80,000 pediatric emergency room visits. In addition, Banner’s Women and Infants services delivered over 25,000 newborns that year. Banner Health has committed $523 million to the expansion of pediatric health care which will include a new six story (220 bed) children’s hospital tower on the Banner Desert campus (East Valley) and additional expansion on the Thunderbird campus (West Valley) to include 40 pediatric beds and a 12 bed PICU.
