A prominent Pulmonary group is actively seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care and/or Sleep Specialist(s) to join an established practice in the rapidly growing East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The group has been in the Phoenix area since 1980 and offers care in a full range of pulmonary, sleep and critical care. A number of the partners have been given the honor of "Top Docs" in the Phoenix Magazine. The physicians have an outstanding reputation for excellence, as well as great working relationships with the local physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialists.
The opportunity to experience all or part of pulmonary/sleep/critical care medicine exists. If you choose any one particular area to specialize in, the group can accommodate your interests, as the group is in an expansion mode. The group currently are co-owners of 2 sleep labs and looking to expand. The physicians are well known local, regional and national lecturers. If the candidate is interested in research, that opportunity is available.
The group enjoys an excellent working relationship with one another and have an excellent staff with little turnover. Payors are mainly private and Medicare and the office has little exposure to HMO's even in the highly managed care Phoenix market.
The office is located in the medical office building attached to the Heart Hospital on the Banner Baywood Campus. The campus consists of the Banner Baywood Heart Hospital and the Banner Baywood Medical Center. The Medical Center has 241 beds and is opening a new 7-story, 123 bed patient tower with expansion to 26 ICU beds, in September 2006. The Heart Hospital is the 2nd largest free standing Heart Hospital in the country with 112 beds offering 5 CVOR's (one a complete Vascular/Endovascular dedicated room) and 4 state-of-the-are Cath Labs.
This is a great opportunity for an outstanding physician to join this practice, who will continue to raise the bar with knowledge, expertise and compassionate care for our community, have a competitive salary and benefit package, share call every third or fourth night and weekends and partnership after two years. All this, and the opportunity to live in one of the best cities in the United States.
Banner Baywood Heart Hospital is part of Banner Health, one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the country with twenty hospitals, six long term care centers and an array of other services, including family clinics, home care services and home medical equipment, in seven Western and Midwestern states.
