There is only one full time otolaryngologist for our county (population 110,000)  The community supported three full time ENTs or years, but two have slowed down to only medical ENT and are soon to retire.  Existing full time ENT is 6 weeks out on appointments and currently turning away patients.

First year salary guranteed.  After first year, there is an opportunity to either be employed by the hospital in a 26 physician multi speciality clinic, or set up a private practice.

After the first year, the physician is paid based upon productivity.
