BROOKINGS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

The Brookings Hospital is a 61 bed community-owned facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services.  Adjacent to the hospital is Brookview Manor, an 85 bed skilled nursing home offering home health and hospice services.  The hospital website is www.brookingshospital.org 

THE COMMUNITY

SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY

Brookings is the home of 12,000 university students.  Land-grant universities are designed to provide a comprehensive education to students in many fields.  That’s why diversity is an important trademark of a SDSU education.  In addition to having over 200 majors, minors and options to pick from, students choose from more than 6,000 courses offered each year.  Master’s degrees are offered in more than 30 areas, and doctorates are available in eight fields.
