Heart Hospital of Austin is assisting a large prestigous cardiology group locate an associate.  The cardiologist will see office patients in the LaGrange area.  There is currently a full time cardiologist ,whom is also partner in the prestigous cardiolog group, in LaGrange in which you would share call and share an office with. This office provides stress tests, echo, stress echo, vascular diagnostic studies, nuclear, Holter monitoring and event monitoring along with consultative services.   Call would be shared equally with the cardiologist in LaGrange to cover the local hospital.  Long term goal is to have four cardiologist in the surrounding remote areas to share call and cover another hospital in the surrounding area.

LaGrange opened a new hospital in 2005.  It is a 74 acre, 95,000 square feet, 65 bed facility. The medical center has a 64 slice CT scanner, echo and nuclear services.  Fayette county and the surrounding Lee and Bastrop counties have a population totaling over 100,000.  LaGrange is the largest town in Fayette County and provides the county citizens with governmental, commercial, medical, civil and cultural facilities.  La Grange is rich in scenic beauty and lies below the Bluff on the Colorado River.  The town is laid out around a public square on, which is located, the Fayette County Courthouse, which was built in 1891.  The town has a vibrant and diversified economy.  It offers an excellent school system, a public library, and a museum.
