Heart Hospital of Austin is assisting a large prestigous cardiology group locate an associate.  The cardiologist will establish an office in Bastrop, TX.  There is currently a full time cardiologist ,whom is also partner in the prestigous cardiolog group, in LaGrange in which you would share call. This office will provided stress tests, echo, stress echo, vascular diagnostic studies, nuclear, Holter monitoring and event monitoring along with consultative services.   Call would be shared equally with the cardiologist in LaGrange to cover the local two hospitals.  Long term goal is to have four cardiologist in the surrounding remote areas to share call and cover another hospital in the surrounding area. 

There will be an income guarantee offered for the first year which is very competitive.  A productivity bonus is also included the first and second year.  Partnership track.  Benefits include but not limited to malpractice insurance, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k, profit sharing plan vacation time, CME time and CME allowance. 

Bastrop county is located 30 miles from Austin.  The airport is in easy access from Bastrop.  Bastrop has been one of the fastest growing counties.  There is a facility in Bastrop which is a 27 bed facility.  This is a great opportunity to be close enough to a major city and live in a smaller community.
