Central Utah is home to one of the most beautiful mountains ( Mount Nebo ), pristine fishing, hunting, and ATV riding found in the Intermountain West.  Nephi is located right on I-15, just 35 minutes South of Provo, Utah and 95 minutes South of Salt Lake City, Utah.  Maple Canyon, a rock climber’s paradise is just minutes away as well as boating at Yuba Lake.  For the ATV enthusiast, there is the Little Sahara Desert, an oasis of sand only a short drive away!

Nephi is a small, friendly and family-oriented community.  The population served by the facility includes 45,000 residents from Juab, Sanpete and Millard counties.  Educational opportunities exist nearby with Brigham Young University and Utah Valley State University less than an hour’s drive, as well as Snow College, a 2-year junior college just 40 minutes to the Southeast.  The climate is considered mild in Central Utah.  The area experiences all four seasons, yet somehow escapes without extreme heat in the summer or excessive snow in the winter months.
