Memorial Hospital is a 132-bed hospital with a medical staff of approximately 180 members representing a variety of specialties; 85% of our Medical Staff are board certified.
Advanced Technology … In February 2002, Memorial Hospital opened the Weitzel-Kern Surgery Center; a 32,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art surgery wing. This extraordinary facility is comprised of eight operating rooms and six procedure rooms. The Herbert-Perna Center for Physical Health recently held their grand opening. This facility houses occupational medicine in addition to physical, speech, occupational, and aquatic therapy. Our facilities allow Memorial Hospital and its medical staff to meet the medical and surgical needs of this growing community now and in the future. In 2007, Memorial Hospital fully converted to the electronic medical record.
