Great opportunity for a family medicine physician to join the faculty of The Conroe Medical Education Foundation Family Medicine Residency Program to practice the full range of family medicine including obstetrics and teaching residents. CAQ in Geriatrics and/or endoscopy skills are desirable.
The Lone Star Community Health Center, which services as the 21 residents and 6 faculty members home base, is a 22,000 square foot state-of-the-art Family Medicine Center. The Center is equipped with 2 procedure rooms, 24 exam rooms, video colposcopy video flexible sigmoidoscopy, computerized treadmill, ultrasound machine, splinting and casting supplies, manipulation table, laboratory, x-ray room and an electronic medical records system.
- Provide care for inpatient, obstetrical and newborn for follow-up visits in the Family Medicine Center, as well as academic responsibilities.
- The Center sees 120 patients a day and call is 1:6.

Lone Star Community Health Center, a federally Qualified Health Center, recently expanded services to include psychiatry, counseling, dental, diabetic education, and pharmacy services. Lone Star is located near Conroe Regional Medical center, a full service hospital.
