FACILITY
St. Mary’s Hospital is a 143 bed community hospital which was built as a completely new and modern facility in 1980. It has an eight bed CCU and a twelve bed maternity unit. There are about 110 Active Medical staff members with about 160 affiliate/consulting/allied health professionals.

St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York. Amsterdam is a city of just under 20,000 people located along the Mohawk River about 40 minutes west of the capital of Albany, New York. It combines a rich diversity of culture with a safe environment for raising for a family. There is a good public school system which in addition to academic performance boasts top performing football and basketball teams and the best high school marching band in the country. Located in the southern Adirondacks, there is nearby rural farmland making land affordable. Good skiing is just 20 minutes away and boating and swimming are availble at nearby Sacandaga Lake. Located at exit 27 on the NY State Thruway, Amsterdam has its own Amtrak Station and is just 40 minutes from the Albany Internal Airport.
