Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a 379 bed acute care hospital and is part of the Henry Ford Health System. Recently renovated and with some of the highest patient satisfaction ratings in the Henry Ford Health System, this hospital boasts a very high occupancy rate with an excellent payor mix.
We are a non-profit hospital and located in southeast Michigan, along the Detroit River, with a very good reputation in the community. The main Wyandotte campus features a surgery department with 11 operating suites, two endoscopic suites and a daVinci robotic surgical system; a 25-bed birthing center, an emergency department with pediatric specialty care; general medicine and surgical care; ancillary testing; inpatient physicial medicine and rehabilitation services; adult mental health services; neurosurgical services; and physician offices. An Osteopathic Graduate Medical Education program offers rotations to residents, interns and third and fourth year medical students.
In March 2006, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital recently opened the Center for Health Services, situated on a 35-acre site. The outpatient ambulatory surgery center includes a 24 -hour emergency department, same day surgery, a diagnostic sleep lab, pharmacy, clincial lab and medical office space. The medical imaging department offers CT scanning, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography and breast stereotactic services.
