Join 5 Internist department - traditional full scope of practice or outpatient only

Practice opportunity for a BC/BE General Internal Medicine Physician to assume practice of exceptionally busy Internist who is refocusing his practice to diabetes care only.  Join five Internists, one Diabetes Specialist, 3 Pulmonology/Critical Care physicians, 1 Nephrologist, 1 Rheumatologist and one PA in Mercy Internal Medicine Clinic in Mason City, Iowa.  The Clinic is located adjacent to the main lobby in Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, our 346-bed regional referral teaching hospital. 

Expect to see 25 patients per day in a practice enhanced by close access to a full range of consultative services, electronic medical records, PACS and a full-service medical library.  Your practice will flourish in the environment of a facility recognized by Thomsen-Reuters (formerly Solucient)for seven consecutive years as a "Top 100 Hospital" nationally and for the eighth consecutive year as a "Top 100 Program" nationally for Cardiovascular Services, based on clinical outcomes, financial stability and growth. 

Develop your practice based on your preferences, whether it be for a traditional outpatient/inpatient practice, or outpatient only.  Our 24/7 Hospitalist program supports Internists who opt to practice outpatient only.  Your practice will be enhanced by our electronic medical records system, as we are recognized as one of the "most wired" small hospitals for EMR and digital technology in the nation. We are also recognized in the top 3% nationally for providing excellent patient safety for three consecutive years.
