Johnson City Medical Center, is a 550-bed, tertiary facility. It is part of the Mountain States Health Alliance, a 15-facility system and the largest in Northeast Tennessee with programs reaching into Virginia and North Carolina. Johnson City Medical Center is a major medical referral center with Level I Trauma care and the region's only dedicated emergency medical air transport service.
