Ascension Health is the nation's largest Catholic and largest nonprofit health system, serving patients through a network of hospitals and related health facilities providing acute care services, long-term care, community health services, psychiatric, rehabilitation and residential care. Sponsored by four provinces of the Daughters of Charity, the Sisters of St Joseph of Nazareth and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

Community

Community consists of three cities: Pasco, Kennewick and Richland located in SE Washington. Population is 170K plus. Four definite seasons, with mild winters (light snow) and warm, dry summers. Major Industry is Hanford Nuclear Site, Agriculture. Recreation: water sports, cycling, golfing, fishing, hunting, snow skiing within 3 hours, great organized sports for children of all ages, several athletic clubs with indoor tennis. Highly rated school districts, 2 year community college, 4 year branch of WSU offering post graduate and doctoral degrees. 22% Hispanic, Laotian, Vietnamese, Asisan, Russian. Pasco has high percentage of blue collar workers, Medicaid and indigent population. Low managed care.
