With roots tracing back to 1869 and the first community hospital west of the Mississippi, Genesis Health System retains its original spirit as the Quad Cities’ only locally owned and operated regional health system. With its affiliated providers, Genesis comprises more than 665 beds, 600 physicians, 5,000 staff members and hundreds of volunteers. The Cogent program serves two Genesis Health System campuses, which are located three miles apart.
