Advocate Medical Group, a large, multi-specialty group of over 700 physicians, seeks a 6^th physician to expand their General Adult Psychiatry services.  This faculty opportunity is structured as full time.  The incoming physician will join the medical staff of Advocate Lutheran General Hospital , repeatedly named as one of the nation’s Top 100 Hospitals, and part of the Advocate Healthcare System, recognized as the largest health care provider in Illinois . 

As a clinician/educator, the selected candidate will provide individual clinical supervision of psychiatry residents in addition to some didactic teaching and involvement with medical students.  The position is a blend of both inpatient and outpatient services and, at the discretion of the incoming physician, may include outreach to older adolescents, ages 13 and above.   The practice is conveniently located on the hospital campus in an attached professional office building.  Physicians employed by Advocate Medical Group benefit from strong operational support systems, enabling them to focus fully on providing high quality care.
