TeamHealth is searching for a part-time emergency physician for Highlands Medical Center. Candidates must be board certified or board prepared in emergency medicine or board certified or eligible in a primary care specialty with significant emergency medicine experience. ACLS and ATLS certifications required before first shift commences. Alabama State EMS control number also required. The 12-hour shifts run from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. We provide double physician coverage Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 11 pm and on weekends from 3 pm to 11 pm. This 14-bed ED has an annual volume of 14,000.
