Greenwood Regional Rheumatology Center is a busy private practice with one physician, John Hicks, MD, FACP,FACR, which provides rheumatology services to a seven-county service area with a population of a quarter-million people.   Dr. Hicks started his practice in Greenwood in 2001.  He practiced in several Eastern metropolitan areas before settling in Greenwood.  The practice stresses aggressive, early treatment of inflammatory rheumatologic diseases, teaching, active engagement of referring physicians and an open access practice style.  The practice resides in a newly renovated 5,000 – square foot office equipped to provide d x-ray reading, DXA, IV infusions, labs and patient education.   The practice is seeking a BE/BC rheumatologist with opportunity for full partnership.
