Practice Specifics: Seeking 1 Psychiatrist (Adult) Physician
- United Mental Health Services (MHS) is a multi-specialty group with 10-12 psychiatrists, RNs and CNS. The Emergency department is covered by masters level licensed assessment and referral staff. Psychiatrists are not expected to see consults in the ED on a regular basis.
- United MHS has four Mental Health Units: two adult units with 14 beds in each, a 16 bed adolescent unit and a 15 bed geriatric unit. All units are locked.
- The outpatient clinic at United Hospital is located on the hospital campus.
- This position consists of 50 % inpatient and 50 % outpatient.
- Telephonic call every 12th weekend and every 12th night.
- An interest in seeing geriatric patients is preferred, but not required.
