St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center, is a not-for-profit 317-bed facility located on a 72-acre medical campus. St. Joseph's is a faith-based hospital that serves the healthcare needs of 320,000 people in Hot Springs and the surrounding communities.
St. Joseph Mercy Health Center, a member of the Sisters of Mercy Health System, is a 2 time recipient of the large-company Gold Award at the Governor’s Family Friendly Employer Awards for 2006 & 2007 signifying that St. Joseph’s is presently the top family friendly employer in the state.
In 2010, St. Joseph’s will begin using the EPIC Software System which will allow access to patient information with the same chart for inpatient and outpatient services. EPIC’s electronic medical records provide for Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) which improves both patient safety and patient outcomes. In addition, St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center is part of the Mercy SafeWatch Electronic ICU Program which provides monitoring of more than 400 ICU beds across the Sisters of Mercy Health System.
