St. Mary’s Healthcare Center
St. Mary’s Healthcare Center is a 60 bed acute care hospital and is part of Catholic Health Initiatives, based in Denver, Colorado. The hospital has 24 hour Emergency Room coverage by a physician, 4 OR suites, 6 bed ICU, 6 bed Ambulatory Care, Cardiac Rehab, PT, OT, ST Rehab services, educational programs, laboratory, home health and hospice. Attached to the hospital is a 105 bed long term care facility and transitional care unit. Since 2000, St. Mary’s Healthcare Center invested nearly 25 million in building additions in the areas of emergency room, same day surgery, OR, transitional care, kidney dialysis and rehab. The Community
Located on the bluffs of the Missouri River, the community of Pierre is South Dakota’s state capital and has a population of 14,000. The Pierre community has provided a long history of support for its schools and life long learning for its students. The Capital University Center offers degrees from 6 different South Dakota public universities.
