The Organization: CMH is an expanding, regional, fully integrated healthcare system serving an eight county area of more than 90,000 residents. The system includes a 74-bed acute care hospital with 18 physician clinics, 6 long term care facilities, Home Heath, Hospice, Health Transit and Medical Equipment programs. The Hospital has been named a top-ten rural hospital by an independent, academic research project. The hospitals boasts a new Cardiac Cath Lab, PACS radiology system, Siemens 1.5 MRI installed in 2004, and state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record program.
The Community: Bolivar, Missouri, just twenty-five miles North of Springfield (pop. 300k) enjoys one of the State’s top rated school systems, and lowest crime rates. Located at the Northern edge of the Missouri Ozarks, surrounded by recreational lakes, superb hunting opportunities, and outstanding local auto racing tracks, Bolivar is the home of Southwest Baptist University.
