Luther Midelfort – Mayo Health System is a physician directed, vertically integrated hospital and multi-specialty clinic. We have more than 240-physicians representing a wide range of medical specialties in a community health care setting. We have been part of the Mayo Health System, in partnership with Mayo Clinic since 1992. We are Joint Commission accredited. A Mayo One emergency medical helicopter is based in Eau Claire offering surrounding communities access to the area’s only verified Level II Trauma Center. Luther Midelfort also offers an established cardiovascular surgery program, chest pain center, primary stroke center and the most orthopedic specialists in the area.

We recently received the Governor’s Wisconsin Forward Award of Excellence. This is the state’s highest honor for organizational performance excellence. Luther Midelfort also received the Acclaim Award, the American Medical Group Association's (AMGA) most prestigious award.
