Natchez Community Hospital has been serving the Natchez area since 1973. Natchez Community Hospital has been owned and operated by Health Management Associates (HMA) of Naples, Florida, since 1993. We are a 101-bed general, acute care facility. The medical specialties represented on our medical staff include Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology, Urology, Podiatry, Radiology, and Pathology. 

The city of Natchez is located in southwest Mississippi and sits on the banks of the Mississippi River.  Natchez is the oldest European settlement on the Mississippi River and has a very rich history and also has one of the largest concentrations of antebellum homes in the nation.  Our city is visited by thousands of tourists from around the world every year that come to tour the homes and learn more about historic Natchez.  The city is unique in many ways and has a definite flavor of New Orleans along with its own attributes.  Our people are friendly and hospitable.    Our market includes three (3) Mississippi counties and two (2) parishes just across the river in Louisiana.  The city of Natchez is contiguous with Vidalia, Louisiana, separated only by the river.  The city of Natchez has a population of about 18,000, and Vidalia has a population of about 6,500 within the city limits.  Concordia Parish, Louisiana, in which Vidalia is located, has a population of about 20,500.  Our market consists of approximately 85,000 people.  Natchez is conveniently located between larger cities in all directions.  To the south, New Orleans is about three (3) hours away, and Baton Rouge is about two (2) hours.  Alexandria, Louisiana, is about two (2) hours to the west and to the north includes Monroe, Louisiana, and Jackson, Mississippi, both approximately two (2) hours away.
