Recreational opportunities are endless and year-round, with hockey, ice fishing, downhill skiing and ice boating in the winter and sailing, hiking, jogging, biking to while away the spring, summer and fall. One of the area’s unique resources is the 21,000-acre Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest but for those who prefer pampering to camping, Oconomowoc’s hotels, spas and shopping are superb.
