The city of Jamestown is located on the Cumberland Plateau, and sits on the eastern most section of Middle Tennessee. Jamestown is within the area known as the Trail Riding Capital of the Southeast to the equestrian community with hundreds of acres of trails, overlooks, unique geological formations, and waterfalls. Many horse campgrounds, cabins, and stables are located in the county and in and around the parks. Jamestown has easy access to Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, Pickett State Park, and Dale Hollow Lake. Fentress County is also rich in history. The Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park, located in Pall Mall, Tennessee, pays tribute to Sgt. Alvin C. York, the backwoods marksman from the mountains of Tennessee who became one of the most decorated soldiers of World War I.
Our market includes three Tennessee counties with a total population of approximately 140,000. Jamestown is conveniently located between larger cities. To the east, Knoxville is about 1.5 hours away. To the west, Nashville is about 2 hours away. Nashville is also known as Music City USA.
