The Hospital
Parkland Medical Center is an 86-bed regional acute care hospital located in Derry, New Hampshire. The hospital offers an impressive array of technology and services for a community hospital its size, eliminating the need to travel to Boston, Massachusetts or other larger metropolitan areas. Diagnostic capabilities and services in many instances rival those found in larger tertiary facilities. Twice Parkland has been the recipient of Solucient’s "Top 100 Hospital Benchmarks for Success" Award, a distinction given to hospitals demonstrating superior performance across quality, operational and financial indicators. Derry is conveniently located 40 miles north of Boston, 45 minutes from the New Hampshire Seacoast, 60 miles south of the White Mountains and within a few hours of 12 major ski resorts.
