Founded in 1966, Plantation General Hospital (PGH) is a 264-bed acute care hospital providing healthcare services to the families of Broward County.  PGH has nationally recognized and respected centers of excellence in Maternity, High Risk Maternity, Pediatrics, PICU and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which have earned us a distinguished reputation for quality.  We also excel in nutrition counseling, gastric bypass surgery and minimally invasive procedures.  We have a full service imaging/radiology department and a physical therapy/rehab department with immediate appointments available for mammograms, therapy or other scans.  Plantation General Hospital is located just a few miles directly west of Ft.
