New  Internal  Medicine  Opportunity

East Longmeadow Adult Medicine (ELAM), a well-established outpatient practice located in East Longmeadow, MA, is seeking an internist to join its expanding team.  This team of 3 long-term Baystate physicians shares a goal to provide residents of East Longmeadow and its surrounding communities with the highest quality medical care.  Baystate Reference Laboratories patient service center, X-ray and physical therapy services are conveniently located in the same building.  Our physicians are on staff at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, just 6 miles away from this busy practice.  Baystate Medical Center is a 653-bed tertiary care hospital and is the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will be committed to a career in outpatient primary care medicine.  Our physicians see   20-25 patients a day and inpatient needs are covered by our 24/7 hospitalist staff.  The schedule is Monday-Friday and four Saturday mornings a year.  Call is 1:8 and is by telephone only.  The group values the relaxed family atmosphere of the practice and is seeking a physician who is a team player and enjoys a cordial environment.  Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
