Hospitalists Management Group is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for the position of Medical Site Director to lead a 6-physician practice in Vincennes, Indiana.  Site Directors oversee the hospitalist program while working clinically and administratively to align service and hospital goals.  Site Directors are given the opportunity to develop a team of physicians by assisting with staff interviews, recruitment and orientation.  If you are seeking a leadership position with potential for further advancement, this is the opportunity for you.  HMG takes pride in supporting strong hospitalist leaders and advancing the careers of our physicians from within the company.  Management experience preferred but not required.
 
HMG Hospitalist practices provide 24 hour inpatient care 7 days a week to assigned and unassigned patients.  Responsibilities include preoperative assessment and perioperative management of surgical patients; running codes; critical care services; invasive and non-invasive procedures; pre-admission screening of emergency department referrals and coordination with hospital discharge planning functions.
