Hospitalists Management Group is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for the position of Medical Site Director to lead a 6-physician practice in Vincennes, Indiana. Site Directors oversee the hospitalist program while working clinically and administratively to align service and hospital goals. Site Directors are given the opportunity to develop a team of physicians by assisting with staff interviews, recruitment and orientation. HMG Hospitalist practices provide 24 hour inpatient care 7 days a week to assigned and unassigned patients. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment and perioperative management of surgical patients; running codes; critical care services; invasive and non-invasive procedures; pre-admission screening of emergency department referrals and coordination with hospital discharge planning functions.
