Northside Medical Associates and St. Vincent’s Health System are currently seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Practice candidate for a private practice setting at Northside’s Pell City office. Northside Medical Associates is a progressive multi-specialty group located in Pell City, Alabama approximately 40 minutes from downtown Birmingham and 90 minutes for Atlanta along 1-20.
Northside Medical Group consists of 5 full-time and 1 part-time physician. The group includes 2 Internists, 1 Gastroenterologist, 2 Family practitioners and 1 Sports Medicine/FP. Their group holds several subspecialty clinics in their office to serve the community. They include Orthopedics, OBGYN, ENT and Dermatology. The group provides inpatient care at St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital just a few blocks from their office. St. Vincent's St. Clair hospital has operated in Pell City with more than three decades of service.
Northside Medical is interested in adding a physician due to the daily growing demand for healthcare services. The compensation package for new physicians includes:
Salary guarantee of $150,000 for the first year, at least 1:9 call, practice management support, 4 ½ day work week, malpractice insurance and staff support (nurse and assistant).
The most important feature is that income is not limited by Northside Medical. Each physician runs his or her own practice the way they see fit. No one has to “buy in” in order to keep what they earn. Once operational overhead has been covered, all left-over profits brought in by a physician belong to that physician.
Northside Medial Associates is located in Pell City, Alabama. They are in St. Clair County which is a designated Federal Medically Underserved Area (MUA) with a rating of 42:1. The US Government sets the cutoff rating for MUA’s at 64 or less. Pell City’s Current population is estimated at 11, 894 in 20206 with a 24% increase in population since 2000.
