The Peninsula Regional Medical Group consists of family medicine offices located in the tri-state area towns of Dagsboro, Laurel and Ocean View, Delaware; Ocean Pines, Berlin and Snow Hill, Maryland; and Chincoteague, Virginia. In addition to these family medicine offices, Peninsula Regional has over 50 other private practice family and internal medicine physicians on its medical staff who provide direct access to the full range of services through its Hospitalist Program. Peninsula Regional Medical Group also oversees Peninsula Regional Oncology & Hematology in the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute, as well as an Occupational Health division of the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

By 2009, Peninsula Regional Medical Center will have undergone the largest expansion project in the history of Wicomico County in an effort to continue to be the leading health care provider in the region. Our $100 million expansion is now in full swing. Construction is visible from all corners of the campus as the “Journey to a Legacy” expansion and renovation project rolls forward. When complete, 220,000 square feet of new space will be added to the Medical Center through construction and 80,000 additional square feet of existing space will be redesigned through renovations.
