COMMUNITY: This federally qualified health center is located in a beautiful resort community in northern Idaho known for its lush evergreen mountains and pristine clear waters. The community of 43,683 boasts a variety of festivals, fairs, concerts, diverse restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and three theatres. Outdoor activities for all four seasons are numerous, particularly around the lake. Skiing, snow boarding, golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, biking, trails, hiking, and much more characterize this region’s activities. In addition education opportunities are abundant with a number of public and private schools, a community college, and many universities within a 60 mile radius. An international airport just 35 miles away provides easy access to anywhere you might want to go. This community is the perfect location for someone seeking a close community with year-round entertainment.

 

COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER/POSITION: This community health center has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care patient services to its clientele of all ages. Clinic hours are from 8am to 5pm. The clinic is currently staffed with a physician, two physician assistants, three nurse practitioners, one dentist and two behavioral health providers.
