Inpatient call is managed by a hospitalist system at Sutter Coast Hospital, a 59-bed general acute care hospital in Crescent City, CA. Located 25 miles south of Brookings, the hospital serves a population of approximately 43,000. Sutter Coast Hospital is an affiliate of Sutter Health, one of the country’s leading not-for-profit health networks. The hospital offers the resources of a multi-hospital health system with numerous specialty clinics.
Incoming physicians must be personable, motivated, community oriented, and committed to providing first class patient care. Board Certification or Board Eligibility is a requirement for all candidates. 100% ambulatory full time position; inpatients covered by Sutter Coast hospitalist program; relocation package; malpractice insurance coverage; health, dental, vision, long-term disability benefits; Sutter Health retirement; 403b participation; 5 days annually for CME, with covered expenses for tuition and travel.
