Specialized Facilities
Loyola is an 801-licensed-bed institution that includes the Loyola University Medical Center campus (and its Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the Ronald McDonald® Children's Hospital of Loyola, Burn/Trauma Center, and Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine) and the 36-acre Gottlieb Hospital campus in Melrose Park (including the Gottlieb Health & Fitness Center and the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Care Center). Loyola also includes Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and the Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
Network of Care
In addition to the Maywood and Melrose Park campus locations, Loyola features an exclusive network of specialty and primary care centers in Chicago’s western and southwestern suburbs. Primary care facilities are located in Darien, Elmhurst, Hickory Hills, Homer Glen, LaGrange Park, Maywood, North Riverside, Oakbrook Terrace, Oak Park, Orland Park and Wheaton.
Specialty services are provided at the Loyola Center for Aesthetics at Oakbrook Terrace North, Loyola Center for Ambulatory Surgery at Oakbrook Terrace North, Loyola Center for Children's Health at Oakbrook Terrace North, Loyola Center for Health at Hickory Hills, Loyola Center for Health at Homer Glen, Gottlieb Professional Office Building in Melrose Park and the Loyola Center for Imaging at Oakbrook Terrace North. Loyola also serves as co-owner-operator of RML Specialty Hospital, a long-term care facility for ventilator-dependent patients in Hinsdale, Ill.
