Westwood Lodge Hospital: General and Child Psychiatrist for fulltime or part-time positions.
If a General Psychiatrist position is to cover Adult programs and if a Child Psychiatrist position will cover Child/Adolescent.
Westwood Lodge Hospital
is a 133-bed private behavioral health hospital offering acute inpatient and partial hospital services for children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric and dual diagnoses treatment issues. Located in Norfolk County just southwest of Boston proper and north of Norwood Westwood is easily accessible to many greater Boston area locations.
Lowell Youth Treatment Center
provides short-term, intensive psychiatric intervention, stabilization and treatment for children and adolescents with diverse treatment issues. Family involvement is emphasized as well as collaboration with community networks.
Lowell is the fourth largest city in Massachusetts. Located northwest of Boston at the intersections of Routes 495, 93 and 3, there is excellent access to areas of MA, NH and ME. Commuter rail provides an easy 40-minute ride to Boston's North Station.
Programs at Westwood and Lowell are provided in highly structured multidisciplinary treatment settings staffed by trained clinical and administrative support staff. The physician duties will include new admission and daily patient care for patients in assigned caseload. The work environment is collegial and physicians have many support services to assist them in their care for patients.
Schedules at Westwood and Lowell are Monday – Friday.
There is no call required during the week or on weekends. A very competitive salary & benefits package with opportunity to earn additional income over base salary will be offered.
