West Monroe , LA – BC or BE (if currently finishing training) Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery candidate with vascular, endovascular, thoracic and cardiac surgical experience.  Join hospital-based experienced, CDTVS surgeon to work in this nationally recognized program.  Facility plans a second heart room.  Six-bed CV/ICU unit; 15 bed CV Telemetry unit; Siemens echo machine and mobile Siemens C-Arm used in the heart room.  Fluent in the use of a hybrid OR. The Institute draws from a 12-parish service area, and receives great support from the hospital board and administration, the community, and corporate support from IASIS Healthcare.  Sc-Image cardiology PACS system; procedures include valve repair/replacement, pacemaker and ICD implants, endovascular procedures and on-and-off pump CABGs.  2 exam rooms; 325+surgeries performed in fiscal year 2006.
