Rapidly expanding Internal Medicine practice in upscale Brighton, MI

St. John Health, one of the largest health systems in Southeastern Michigan, is actively recruiting to add an Internal Medicine physician to a rapidly expanding practice in Brighton.
 
Brighton, Michigan is an upscale community that offers many cultural, recreational and social activities with 55,000 residents within a 5-mile radius of our office. Average local household income is $111,915. The city is 45 miles west of Detroit, 15 miles north of Ann Arbor and 45 miles east of Lansing, Michigan.  This is an outpatient only practice that admits to a hospitalist service. Our physician is a Washington University School of Medicine trained Internist and is adding between 25-40 new patients every month. Our office is located in a brand new 2700 sq. ft. space designed to optimize workflow and incorporate new information technology. Our primary hospital affiliate is a 200-bed hospital located in Novi, which opened in 2008.
 
The new physician will be on call every other week by pager with a low volume.  This is an employed opportunity with Medical Resources Group (MRG) – a corporation of St. John Health, guaranteed base salary with performance incentives and benefits are offered.  Ideal candidate should be personable, knowledgeable, and motivated to assist in providing the highest quality of care and continue practice growth. 
 
Qualifications for this position include:
·  Graduate of accredited medical school
·  Successful completion of training in accredited Internal Medicine residency
·  Board eligible or certified in specialty
·  Meets requirements for medical licensure to practice in Michigan
