Located in the thriving downtown area of Jonesboro, Arkansas, our goal is service through regional health care and St. Bernards truly is the regional health care provider. Our 435 bed facility serves as the referral center for 23 counties in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

Our dedication to technology is reinforced as we continually strive to meet the health care needs of our community. St. Bernards offers the latest CT, MRI, and PET imaging as well as CV Surgery, Neurosurgery, a radiation cancer treatment center, etc. A St. Bernards Outpatient Surgery Center opened within the last year and an Outpatient Imaging Center is now under construction.

Education

Jonesboro is a family oriented community with six different public school systems and four private schools. The community is also home to Arkansas State University and with branch campuses considered, ASU brings in 17,000 students from around the world. Jonesboro Public Schools have long been noted for high standards and exceptional performance (one of our schools being recognized as the #1 school in the state for 4 years running). Recognized by a national publication as having the highest 'EG', or Educational Quotient in the state, the district's 356 certified staff hold 190 Master's Degrees, nine Specialists Degrees in Education, and five Doctorates in Education and an average of 20 years of experience.
