A large hospitalist group in Austin, Texas needs a neuro hospitalist to cover South Austin Hospital. The pod at South Austin Hospital consists of approximately 12 physicians. MGMA median salary with benefits.

South Austin Hospital is a 200 bed hospital, offering comprehensive care to the community of South Austin, as well as several areas to the south, east and west. It is situated in an area which is experiencing tremendous population growth. A $54 million expansion project was recently completed at SAH. Beds were added to the Intensive Care unit, cardiovascular recovery units, and the medical-surgical floors. Of particular note is the addition of beds to the Emergency Department, accounting for an 86% increase in treatment capacity. Finally, new Cardiac Catheterization labs, a new Electro-Physiology lab and additional cardiovascular operating rooms were constructed. The total project includes over 100,000 new square feet and 26,160 square feet of renovations.
