Citizenship; Graduate of a degree program in pharmacy from an approved college or university; Full, current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy; Proficiency in spoken and written English and must meet the physical requirements.
In addition to the basic requirements, the following is required:
For GS-12, One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
For GS-13, Completion of one of the following:
1. One (1) year of professional experience equivalent to or above the GS-12 grade level of federal service or;
2. Board certification recognized by the American Pharmaceutical Association's Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.
Applicant's successful practice and length of experience will be considered by a Pharmacy Professional Standards Board in determining the salary of the applicant selected.
All applicants must submit a copy of your transcript or list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Application materials will not be returned. You can receive credit for education received outside the United States if you provide evidence that it is comparable to an accredited educational institution in the United States when you apply. You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.
You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.
