The El Paso VA Health Care System is seeking a board certified or board eligible Dermatologist.  The clinician independently provides direct patient care, including assessing and prescribing treatment for health problems, health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice.   The clinician collects data on patients to include all history, physical, laboratory, and radiographic data and other diagnostic testing as indicated.  The Dermatologist formulates an individual treatment regimen according to the patient’s needs.  This includes the principles of health teaching, disease prevention, and health promotion.  Evaluates treatment regimen for effectiveness and makes the necessary adjustments as well as manages treatment modalities within parameters.

 

Typical workweek is 40 hours, Monday – Friday, without call.  Federal benifits with 10 paid holidays and 26 work days of vacation a year.
