Adult Psychiatry Opportunity On the Sunny Coast of Florida!

HCA West Florida Division, consisting of sixteen acute care hospitals, division wide, is conducting a nationwide search for an ‘energetic’ Adult Psychiatrist to actively participate in the expansion of their successful psychiatric unit.

The candidate will join a well-established outpatient practice in Pinellas County Florida, will be actively associated with the Sun Coast Hospital (a division of the Largo Medical Center) inpatient unit(s), and have academic and research opportunities as part of responsibilities/interests in a tertiary hospital environment.  

The candidate will be responsible for admitting and treating seniors and adults in a full continuum of care including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospital, inpatient services (stabilization and treatment),  and have an active academic role in training medical residents.The candidate will participate in community consults, community education/training, and help to build the current inpatient program of 21 beds to 48 beds by 2010.
