MacNeal Hospital is a community hospital located in the near western suburbs of Chicago. It is easily commutable from downtown Chicago and the western/southwestern suburbs by both train and car.
In 2008, MacNeal was ranked among the Top 10 Illinois Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery by a HealthGrades national study and achieved five stars in:

MacNeal also sponsors the oldest Family Practice Residency Program in Illinois.
Today, the MacNeal Health Network serves the healthcare needs of more than one million people in the near west and southwest suburbs of Chicago. Along with MacNeal Hospital, a 427-bed fully accredited teaching hospital, our network is comprised of ten primary care centers, a resource library, a school for at-risk children and many other programs. Nearly 92% of our 400+ physicians are board-certified.
