Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center is located in the heart of Will County, the fastest growing county in Illinois.  The Medical Center has a medical staff of more than 500 physicians representing 50+ specialties, with over 2,600 professional, technical and support personnel.

Neurosciences-around-the-clock neurosurgery coverage through a partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago, Emergency Services-a level II trauma center with a separate Express Care area for less serious patient needs, Rehabilitation Services-a dedicated inpatient unit for patients with intensive rehabilitation needs, an Industrial Rehab Center for injured workers, the Physical Rehab & Sports Injury Center for outpatients, and physical therapy services at numerous locations throughout the region, Saint Joseph Heart Center-advanced diagnostic testing, non-surgical interventions in the cardiac catheterization labs, and the latest techniques in open-heart surgery, along with cardiac rehab and prevention programs, Sister Theresa Cancer Care Center-sophisticated treatment planning and advanced outpatient radiation therapy, and Women & Children Services-a home-like environment in the Family Birthing Suites, plus a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric unit and pediatric intensive care unit.

The Medical Center has also completed its major building and renovation project that will improve patient care and upgrade facilities.  Some of the improvements include all private rooms, new state-of-the-art critical care units, a conference center with atrium overlooking a Healing Garden, and a 700 car covered parking structure.
