Staff Psychiatrist
Position – General Adult Inpatient Services – No Call
Duties of the position include admission evaluations, treatment team leadership and daily care of assigned patients. All patient care is provided in a multidisciplinary treatment setting the team comprised of psychiatrists, counselors, professional nurses, social workers and other therapists. Patient caseload is very manageable and will be adults with predominant general psychiatric diagnoses. If interested you can also work with patients in the substance abuse program but it is not required.
The work schedule is Monday – Friday. There is no required call. Any call voluntarily scheduled for on week nights or weekend is for extra compensation. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in General Psychiatry or any subspecialty with interest in working with an all adult caseload.
A highly competitive compensation package including salary, benefits and opportunity to earn additional income over base salary will be offered.
