MERCY HEALTH CENTER, is a full-service tertiary hospital in Oklahoma City with 392 beds, 2,577 co-workers, and 849 physicians on our medical staff.   Mercy Health Center is the first hospital in Oklahoma and among only 3 percent of hospitals in the nation to be awarded Magnet status by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Established in 1947, Mercy Health Center serves a six-county area with a 1.04 million population and operates under the sponsorship of the Sisters of Mercy Health System, St. Louis, the second-largest not-for-profit health system in the country.  Located in northwest Oklahoma City, the center includes a main hospital and five medical buildings - The Plaza, The Tower, McAuley Physician Offices, Mercy Women's Center and Mercy NeuroScience Institute as well as the nationally recognized Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
